ABOUT MK

Kolt and Makala are the owners here at MK Livestock and Design.

Kolt and Makala are both passionate about the livestock industry. Kolt grew up showing Gelbvieh and Balancer cattle and Makala grew up showing crossbred market hogs and Simmental cattle. They first met during a 4H and FFA Livestock judging contest.

Kolt and Makala both graduated from the University of Kentucky. Kolt received his bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics and minored in business. Makala graduated with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Communications/ Community Leadership and Development and minored in Agricultural Economics.

They recently got engaged at the NAILE during the Balancer show and their wedding date is set for October 2020. 

MK's goal is to build their show cattle and show pig brand. They're both excited about things to come in the next few years involving the livestock portion of MK. 

MK is passionate about helping other farms and agribusinesses develop their brand and marketing material that will lead to success for their customer. MK offers agricultural marketing services which include photography, videography, graphic design, logo design, print an digital media all for the Livestock and Agricultural Industry.
